I have been reading about us
Getting to know us
Not just the people of color
Not just the people of wealth
Not just the people of power
Not just the people of knowledge
Us as a people
We have become so greedy in our thirst
The thirst exist deep down within us
That is why we seek knowledge,wisdom,and riches
Our thirst to know God is even greater than before
Some of us become so obsessed with it
We abandon His love out of neglect
Or what we consider His neglect.
We are greedy for His love and acknowledgment.
His love for us is greater than we will ever know
For our greed He feeds us with words in books
He feeds us with the knowledge of fire
and gives us precious metals to adore
He gives us the earth to scorch and abandon
He gives us love for us to take for granted
We, us,and I are not worthy
For our lust to be so much like Him
We have pushed ourselves further away.
How can we love Him if we cannot accept Him
as He is and how we are?
We make Him ashamed of us when we question Him
He fogives us for not knowing Him
He pampers us for our innocents
And He loves us despite all.
Please continue with Your knowledge Oh Lord
For Your time is coming
Continue with Your love for we do not know how to love
ourselves. We honor all of your creations dear Father but fear the
ultimate our own death. We fear U Lord and don't know how to tell
You......... Please love us in our ignorance ........Amen.
