Isn't it amazing how we plan our lives, and as they progress, we think we are doing just fine. Then something happens! It may be a big thing or a little thing that calls us to a different reality that we had not considered as the focus of our lives. Maybe we had appeased the urge with some work here and there. We thought it was all going to work out the way we were going.
An event, an emotion, an uneasiness that just kept growing and we just kept going our way. One morning, our way was no longer working. I think they call this the "Wake Up Call" to the reality of being and becoming our total self within the realm of the spirit.
The transition will not be easy. So many nights we will wonder why and still won't know, but we wonder. At some point, everything comes together and we are at peace. We can see the big picture and know that although the path was lined with trees, we were not meant to see the horizon clearly. It was so that we would stay on the path.
We are then filled with love of God and man as we realize that this has always been our dream, however subtle, and that our hearts are now joyous, and all is well with our soul.
Keep the faith. Rest and eat for strength. Love and nourish yourself and others. The path is not as long as it seems, and the jouney has such interesting adventures along the way.
