For the 6th straight year, Tenth Tabernacle Beth El, Miami, opened its hearts and doors to our community’s youth for an “End of the Summer’ party and sharing of supplies for the new school year!
Thanks to an outpouring of generosity from sponsors, members and a neighboring congregation, 60 school children will have what they need to enter the classroom all set to learn on the first day of school. That neighboring congregation thought enough of the kids to donate the excess from its own give-a-way.
This year, we were also blessed to donate to Educational Alternative Outreach Program, (EAOP) a Miami-Dade Public School that serves some of the county’s most deserving students.
On-site festivities included a bounce house, free snacks and for the first time, a clothing give-away. The fellowship between the community and the members of Tenth Tabernacle, Beth El is always a highlight as we strive to become a beacon of service, hope, and love through community service and outreach.
“It’s a lot of churches out there but very few perform the service that you all do,” said annual sponsor Mr. Luis Martinez. “I am blessed to be a part of this.”
In addition to Mr. Martinez, thanks are due to all of our dedicated members, sponsors, volunteers and participants. We extend a special thanks to donor, Ms. Yvette Phillips, and the ‘TonT’ Project, for their charitable giving and all-around support.
We thank the Almighty God, for without Him, none of this would be possible!
